Thru-Tubing Systems instrumental in helping Helix Energy Solutions set a new deepest deployment record for the Helix 10K Intervention Riser System (IRS) on a deepwater well.
The Q4000 performed a flow back on an unnamed well at a water depth of 2,851 meters.
The Q4000 completed the flow back successfully, also performing a Thru-Tubing screen replacement, the company said.
TTS was successful in running insert screen, setting packer and testing.
This was the first time a major oil company has ran insert screens in the GOM and used active coil to log packer and screens on depth.
