The Downhole Sand Separator is a revolutionary solids-separation solution engineered for artificial lift wells. Installed below a rod pump or Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP), it removes sand, fines, iron sulfides, scale, and other solids prior to entering downhole pumps—helping extend equipment life and reduce operating costs.
Its Patent Pending multi-port, linear-directed flow technology precisely controls fluid direction and velocity to create a stable centrifugal vortex. This engineered flow path separates solids from production fluid and directs them to mud joints below the Separator, allowing cleaner produced fluid to continue into the pump.
CFD-engineered for enhanced separation efficiency, the Separator removes significantly more small-diameter sand and fines than traditional desanders while delivering improved performance at higher fluid viscosities and water cuts. Its plug-and-play design integrates with existing equipment and is available in multiple configurations to accommodate a broad range of well flow rates.
