Does your plug vendor really matter? Are all plugs the same? Is it possible to ensure consistency every time you have a job to do? Talking about quality is much easier than taking actions necessary to guarantee it. TTS believes product quality should not be left to chance. Companies that trust TTS for their supply are certain of the consistency of their quality and performance. This is based on years of documented results that have been provided in both products and service delivery.
TTS implemented their Quality Management System (QMS) and worked to achieve certification from API. API functions as the independent authority providing oversight to ensure industry defined standards are met. This oversight includes regular audit and on-site inspection to verify compliance.
Our QMS provides the operational model and documents the daily diligence we apply in execution of these standards. TTS has been awarded certification as an API designated Q1 manufacturer and holds certificates Q1-4872 and ISO-5389 signifying their commitment to upholding the highest standards in the industry. Certification from API can be verified by searching the API Composite List of vendors
Further evidence of TTS’ commitment to delivering the best product option to our customers is our decision to operate at the highest Manufacturing Quality grade recognized by API. API Spec 11D1 defines three quality grades (Q1, Q2, and Q3 with Q1 = highest, Q3 = minimum). These govern material traceability, inspection, documentation, and quality management system (QMS) requirements. TTS is also certified to use the API Monogram (No. 11D1-0260) License for Packers and Bridge Plugs.
The Tables on the reverse show a direct, fact-based side-by-side comparison between TTS and other vendors concerning product quality testing based on public product data sheets, company announcements, and API standards (API Spec 11D1, 4th Edition).
Beyond company quality certification, API 11D1 defines product design validation grades (V-grades) that test sealing performance under increasingly severe conditions (pressure, temperature cycling, gas vs. liquid, axial loads, zero-bubble criteria). Higher grades (lower number) = more rigorous testing. Products qualified to a higher grade automatically qualify for all lower grades.

Table 2. Test Validation / Design Validation Grades (API 11D1) 4th Edition (TTS vs. Competitors)
*Competitor 10K Bridge Plug (product datasheet): Explicitly states Quality Grade Q3 and Design Validation Grade V6 per API 11D1. Can not be confirmed as competitor holds no certification from API. All documentation is only as per Competitor QMS. No public datasheets or marketing materials from Competitors were found showing V0–V5, gas testing, temperature cycling, or zero-bubble acceptance. Some Competitors make broad claims of “API 11D1” and “ISO 14310 V0,” but these are not supported by Competitors own product documentation and appear possibly to refer to other products they distribute.
