TTS Series 5400 Sand Cutting Tool
General
The TTS Series 5400 Sand Cutting Tool is a hydraulically operated, spinning
internal tubing cutting tool. It is designed to be deployed on coiled
tubing and sever or cut a variety of tubing strings. Once the tool is
deployed to the desired depth in the well on coiled tubing, a fluid pump
system is activated and pumping of a sand laden slurry is injected through
the coiled tubing and out the Cutting Tool. The Cutting Tool spins while
cutting the tubing string from inside to outside.
Application
- Cutting of tubing when CT deployment is desired over wireline
